What we do

Establised in early 2013 our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re home factory farmed chickens in need of care and attention. We provide the hens with medical care and we work around the clock to improve their quality of life and then re home them into suitable families. 

 

To date we have rescued hundreds of hens with many rescues scheduled for future dates. Sadly this is a small number in comparison to the 11 million hens confined to cages around Australia. We hope to bring awareness to consumers about the suffering that these beautiful creatures endure because of this cruel industry and the demand for eggs.

 

If you aren't in a position to be able to keep chickens as pets then please consider spending the extra few dollars and buy "free range" eggs rather then "caged eggs". A small gesture like that benefit hundreds of hens.
