Hen Rescue Perth

How to adopt
We aim to re home hens in with suitable families. Generally we have hens available all year round.
All hens are vaccinated, parasite treated and have had a full health check before being adopted out.
I keep the hens in my personal care for between 1-6 weeks before being adopted out to ensure they are in the best health possible.
In order to be eligible to adopt you must provide a safe secure environment for the hens to live in, have experience in chicken keeping and or be willing to learn the basics. We do adopt out hens to first time chicken owners.
Feel free to email me at henrescue@outlook.com anytime if you are interested in adopting some of these beautiful hens.
We reserve the right to refuse any potential adopters if we feel that they aren't suitable.
Please note: a $10 per hen adoption fee is charged. This rescue is self funded and all money raised from adoptions goes directly back into rescuing more hens, food and vet bills.
Fostering
Fostering allows me to rescue a higher number of hens. If you have some experience chicken keeping or are happy to learn the basics then you may be suitable. Fostering is extremely rewarding and makes a huge difference. If you can provide a safe short or long term home for any amount of hens please contact me at hen.rescue@outlook.com
Our Facilities
We are currently based out of my own personal property in Seville Grove. Here we are able to temporarily house around 40 hens at any one time. We also strongly rely on foster homes to house some of the hens whilst they are being rehabilited before being re homed.
Our Staff
Hen Rescue WA was founded by myself Chelsea Day and run soley by my partner Clayton and myself. Also helped by our red heeler Lucy and german shepherd Gus AKA "The Chicken Protectors".
